The Design Institute of Politecn Milan and the local clothing Institute of Xiamen, Fuzhou University, Xiamen Academy of Fine Arts, Xiamen University of Technology Design Institute of art and clothing engineering held an international "dialogue" at the fashion center of Longshan Wen Chuang garden, Siming District.

The international exchange activities

The people's Government of Siming District is supported by the Xiamen textile and garment industry association.

The purpose of the event is to invite professional teachers and students from famous international design institutes to come to Xiamen, to carry out professional exchanges with local design institutes in Xiamen, and jointly hold a joint press conference on outstanding student works to share the training experience of garment design professionals.

At the same time, we should build an interactive platform for international institutions and enterprises in Xiamen to explore international cooperation and achieve win-win results.

The three institutions participating in this joint presentation of outstanding student works have brought together excellent student works to show their creative talents.

With the further acceleration of regional economic cooperation, international cooperation and integration of garment enterprises will become the norm. The global garment industry is showing diversified development, and puts forward a new talent view for clothing education.

Liu Baofa, associate professor of design department and Prof. Chen Yu, Department of fashion design, School of design and clothing engineering, Xiamen University of Technology, respectively introduced the professional features of their respective institutions, and discussed the training of garment designers in the new industrial background under the new situation.

The Faculty of design of the University of science and technology has also had a good interaction with local designers and enterprises in Xiamen.

Teachers and students watched Xu Xin Yin's work conference, Zheng Qinger's work conference and the 2016 Chinese fashion design competition final, and visited Longshan Wen Chuang garden, Zeng CuO Wen Chuang village, Sha Po Mei west art district and Xiamen Feng Fei Garments Co., Ltd.

Ceng Fengfei, designer of the Golden Summit Award, shared with the visiting teachers and students about the design experience of the recent releases, and analyzed how to find a balance between modern life and aesthetic vision in the inheritance and development of traditional culture.
